Birmingham City University invites you to join industry specialists from around the world at this year's Interiors Birmingham and catch the latest design trends at the Design City stand from 20th to 23rd January.
Organised by Birmingham City University, the stand will look specifically at 30 regional design showcases, exploring trends, influences and new technology to celebrate the creative talent coming out of Birmingham and the surrounding region.
The stand forms part of a wider celebration of design, featured as part of Design City, a collaboration between the University and CMPi, in partnership with Business Link WM, Birmingham City Council, Marketing Birmingham, in the Detail and the design industry.
Design City also includes a specially built Pavilion, located at Victoria Square, Birmingham from the 18th Jan to the 23rd January. Curated by Interiors Designer, intheDetail, the Pavilion features 8 leading designers in a space created by top fabricators, manufacturers and structural engineers from the city and supported with graphics from Clusta graphic design.
Birmingham City University has been at the forefront of driving design led thinking and design development through the business arena for many years. Design City will illustrate how designers and industry practitioners work in partnership with academics and students to create new products, concepts and thinking.
Individuals interested in design can visit the Pavilion at any time or the stand between 9 and 6pm Sun - Tues and 9-5pm on Wed, 20-23 January. A canapé reception is provided at 12.30pm daily with a feature presentation from Elmhurst School of Dance.
